Morning Dew

Crystalline droplets of summer's morning dew,
Bring gentle moisture, the dry earth to renew.

Adding richness to nature's colorful array,
It deepens the values of hues on display.

Dampening the ground and all of its features,
It slakes the thirst of God's smallest creatures.

The dew bathed everything, wherever it fell,
Freshening the air with its clean, crisp smell.

But soon the sun's heat will burn it away,
And scorch the earth for another day.

Then comes the morn when the temperature drops,
The dew will return to freshen the crops.

But when morning dew is upon the ground,
Its wispy white beauty leaves one spellbound.
It Gives the landscape a new beauty so fair.
